Silv,, this is not specific to the ASX..
Sprott, Rick Rule and the global Gold Bug entourage (you know the ones) continually bemoan the issue. (globally)
There's plenty of good interviews around at the moment attempting to explain the phenomena. (from blaming the tech stocks to cryptos, or even the history of POG retracing )
All in all, most of them resign themselves, that it's coming and they don't mind 'getting in early' before the crowds,,, makes sense to me ...
When? Who knows?
The reality is that as some of the larger funds start taking mining positions (there is evidence they are starting to), others that have to keep up with the "returns of others" will join the crowd,, juniors won't be far behind them.
It has to be close, now.
I say again ,, I keep an eye on this chart.. (current as at 28/3/24 I think)
If this one kicks up and IVR doesn't, I'll be a little pssed.. Until then, I'll be patient with the rest of the 'Gold Experts', knowing we got in early..
