IMO..You cannot just go and acquire the company by paying 280Mill..it is not that simple.
Try buying just 50 percent or so (about 1,300million) shares on the market aggressively, and you will see the SP rocket upwards, and so will the MC, and soon the 280 mill that you are saying will be atleast 30 -50times more. So buying AUZ shares on market for takeover is out of question, as it will be unaffordable.
Also there is a different process for unsolicited takeovers offers off market where a current valuation needs to be done by independent consultants to arrive at a takeover offer price...that valuation could easily end up being $5 plus. Minority shareholders will have "tag along" rights, so all shares will be needed to be purchased at the same price.
