Morrison ran a brilliant campaign, such a contrast to the low energy Turnbull, and radiated optimism and sincerity. Shorten's arrogance and truculence, 'dumb question' when asked for costings, surely cost him.
Mixed feelings though with Abbott slaughtered at the polls. Had a bet on him and thought the vicious campaign against him would lead to a backlash against Steggalls. At least Dutton who remember got rid of Turnbull won so there's still a strong conservative voice in the LNP. And ol Barnaby is still there.
