Lets just inject a bit of reality to the situation. You guys are in support of Qantas management screwing workers over a 5% figure.

The average baggage handler is on starts on $682 a week working their way up to $744 a week.
The average aircraft cleaner is on $700 a week.

These are excessive rates of pay ??! You guys are nuts. It's not even a $40/week increase yet its ok when executive remuneration has gone from $8million total last year to $14million this year.

These greedy unionists are being replaced by the Qantas owned labour hire company QGS under this agreement

where the rates of pay for the same staff are $18/hour with no penalty rates whatsoever.

You guys need a reality check if you think the union is being greedy.
