So I suppose Richard Branson was crazy to set-up Virgin in Australia?
I think the Asia expansion is a good strategic decision. It is the fastest growing region in the world and I commend Qantas for having the guts to ignore the short sightedness of shareholders and take up the battle. Success is not going to occur overnight, why don't people understand this (especially on HC)?
Surfrat, why don't you inform us all of the difference in base pay rates for both a pilot FO and baggage handler at Virgin v Qantas? Give us some real figures and comparisons Surfrat (no page 15 page response please).
