Im an Engineer at Qantas and i earn 81,000 per year with a 2 days and 2 nights with 4 days off. He might of forgot to mention that they are 12 hour shifts. The Engineers that might earn that sort of money are the ones with their 747, 767, 330, 737, and probably still getting payed for their 707 Licences. 80% of the Engineers are earning under 100,000 dollars and that is with overtime. I think that is hardly enough for what we do. The training and effort we put in every day for the safety of our passengers and "The Peoples Airline ", ( not just one man )is second to none.
