Can you please provide figures for this?
From what I can see - going from paying 0.41 to 0.57 in the dollar IS in fact a 39% increase. (BHP)
And for Rio, this % increase is higher.
Even a 20% increase in tax so suddenly I would class as ridiculous and immoral.
