But what specifically are you agnostic on? Would you describe yourself as agnostic on the measurable fact that there has been a heating trend? Do you accept that there is indeed a heating trend, but are agnostic on the cause? Are you agnostic on whether greenhouse gas emissions cause heating? Or do you accept that, and are agnostic on what the consequences of that heating will be?
If you say that it is not warming then you are by definition taking a stance that is not agnostic.
I ask these questions because denialism - as frequently displayed on hotcopper - tends to be very vague and slippery. The same people will say one day there's no warming, the next day they'll say, yes it's warming but it's because of the sun, the next day, yes I accept it's humans but Australia is insignificant.
There is no consistency to their position at all (other than the always reliable references to cults, churches, and Greta).
