That is why the median is only good for HC discussions and trying to prove philosophical points.
I purchased a property in Nov (or so) 2009 in the $630k and could now sell it for well over $900k. All up about 4.5 years.
Purchase well, fund it well and hold onto it. Forget about the median unless you want to use it to prove some irrelevant argument.
Others can have the median, I would much rather deal with actual examples.
I will take 5% pa growth for the next few years and be very happy.
