cvi, like everything else this week, was grossly oversold. when the dump happened it was fri arvie coming into a long weekend. I suppose it is probable that someone bought 1.5 mill cvi at 16-16.5c earlier in the week and made one or 2c a share. IE they were never interested in cvi but only catching the bounce.
they probably picked up 20-30g for a weeks work. good luck to them. I made no secret that I sold 15% of my holding just before the "crash" but bought all back cheaper. I should also now add that i have further increased my exposure by 10%.
we need to ask ourselves are we interested in price or value ?? I imagine ANZ nominees are more interested in the latter. i note with special interest how they are racing up the top 20
