mknops is exactly what I was talking about - I know there are a number of trades you do outside of your 'top 10' or however many it may be, but these are your favourites that you know inside and out - fundamentals, trading patterns, other properties (ie its a line wiper, or when theres an announcement it runs hard)
Probably the two I'd know pretty well so far are BBI and EDE, ede is awesome on announcements - rockets of over 40% is not uncommon, but then the next day we'll be back to very weak volume slowly creeping back down to where it was as it doesn't have the publicity of other stocks.
I've found myself a little guilty of buying into hype from announcements etc on stocks and have made some average trades of late, so after slapping myself around a bit I'm looking to gather a few stocks that I can research and study and get to know - even just as a learning experience.
