    Your statement

"Thank God the ROW license will be driven by DS and not Peter Idiot or GSK."

is in my opinion not exactly true if DS decide to take on the global market alone.

If DS decise not to license ROW globally and instead try to distribute the drug themselves (and bta) then they have two options:

    (1) Pay BTA for their stake via milestone/royalty and then commercialise the drug alone

    (2) Share development and roll-out costs with BTA and share income.

I don't think BTA could get a good a deal under (1) compared to if they sell the license to a third party. I just don't see DS being able to pay the same as someone like GSK.

Under (2) this would take subtantial investment by BTA. Probably multiples of their current cash. They would have to raise funds... okay if they get a good price. IMHO only a NASDAQ listing will deliver this.

Interesting times for LANI and DS/BTA. BTA have a good stake and negotiating position... the question will be how management react to such a proposal under (1). Decent deals in the past don't mean an optiomal deal for LANI, it's a HUGE asset for BTA and I really hope they strike a good deal...

    Holding... and waiting...
