I think "predatory" is a strong word when you take into consideration everything in my post. CC have high default rates and are unsecured meaning they are one of the highest loss producing products that banks have, hence the need to charge higher interest rates.

It's either charge these rates and offer the product, or don't offer the product. I don't share the view that this is predatory but each to their own.
