Dont know about gold going bearish,got this today saying the opposite:Spot gold formed a small pennant between $960 and $990, signaling continuation of the up-trend. Expect another test of the key psychological level of $1000/ounce. Continued narrow consolidation below the resistance level would be a strong bull signal. Retracement below the rising green trendline, on the other hand, is unlikely — and would warn that the up-trend is weakening.

thats from twiggs,as for the 100/1 shot blowing like a gale to 250/1,i would be very concerned,whereas if it was backed from 33/1 to 6/4 like a mate of mine did in a ring in at orange 7 got the bikkies,i would be spewing if i got less than 10/1 on a dead cert,different in racing as the odds that tumble in indicate punters believe it will go close,but price increase on the market is the same sentiment but different directions...same aim but 1 up 1 down...
