zero till is more than that mate. we use to harvest, some times burn off the stubble, other time disc/plow it in. then before sowing plow again to turn the weeds, all the time loosing moisture from the soil. trust me i had many disagreements with my Dad. lol plus i hated working 48 hours a week (chaff and grain mill) then come home to plow all night. Thats why i joined the Army (RAE).
