MStrader: are you using a live platform?..It does move fast...if it starts to go down very quickly I do an "at market" sell because otherwise, as you say, the price has changed and you have to repeat the process.
At market orders ensure you get closed out but you have to take what's at the bid at the time your order hits the market....but at least you get out..this can vary considerably from the price action you see on the screen...
Sometimes, I've used a stop to sell in case the market starts to move too fast but I make sure the trigger is at least 5c above the sell price otherwise it gets missed...I do this when I am sitting in a good profit and the SP is approaching an area of resistance like today...a bit of bad news and down it goes....
