Just interested to know....
I went long just before the close at 28.42 mainly because despite the sudden price drop it started to recover and prior to the bad news it was going well...
I always like to buy on down days when the volume is low and the price recovers from the low at the EOD...
Also the news didn't state that the car bailout was not approved full stop just that negotiations had failed.....after the previous game playing with the 700 billion and the consequent approval it could be assumed that the car one will too...besides the panic selling had already occured...still with the Dow so red it was a risky movde for me...
I was very relieved when the Dow ended in the green...mind you that's no guarantee
