Nick, I was aware that the article was 6 weeks old....but no one else had brought it up here. Also aware that the port/rail will serve for multiple users.
The thing is that SDL have put sooo much effort into this process. They have traveled the world talking with potential partners. They have taken Cameroon and Congo gov't reps with them. They are the ones with the rights to build the port/rail.....so really I am just puzzled by IMIC's rhetoric and wonder what the heck is going on with them. Why not just say "we were astute enough to snap up Nkout because we believe in the port/rail that SDL are putting through and we will be able to piggy back off that and hence make Nkout viable"
Why this big story about how THEY are putting in the port/rail. I can't see that this will affect the SDL outcome one little bit but it would be nice to have a clear picture of what the heck is actually going on.
