How do people not know what blood plasma trreatment is if they are invested in a company with trials on for COVID-19 related ARDS? The use is popular amongst Physicians who have little else to treat ARDS. Physicians were besides themselves globally and used everything from blood thinners, steroids and even gentler intubation/ventilation, proning patietns etc. Dexamethosone and Plasma were just common sense practices for Physicians in the absence of any clinical proof and they grew in popularity as Physicians exchanged hopes worldwide. There has been a single arm study (and we know how the FDA does not like those) that has shown some results with Plasma so far, but not convincing results.

You would think so, but FDA has shockingly rejected a few medications lately, asking for more data/ years of observations. My only worry is a small number of patients that are enrolled in the study.
