Worth noting that the large orders going through are at $1.11, thus below where VPG is trading. IMO, this is likely to mean that a large holder is trying to exit, and the brokers are seeking out buyers on their behalf. Good news is that they are getting very close to market price, so good support. Anyway, just my reading of the situation.
