about a year ago,a NZ registered company started collecting shares in predominantly miners with refractory type ores,when prices were low.
there was much discussion about who was behind it. "Au Mining Ltd Wellington" as a google search will give you some details.
that would fit in with CW's observation that 7am placings,would be 9am NZ office time.
Interestingly,when i had a look holdings were being registered in Australian companies,but the company name i think had only been reserved at the time,awaiting formation on the companies website.
