The Editorial hit the nail on the head. Management and Board performance, past and present, have been utterly abysmal.

Most (all) of the disasters have been inspired/planned/executed by the corporate types yet the guys and girl scientists, who've consistently delivered worthwhile clinical candidates for the company, pay the price for management misadventures.

There is absolutely no justice. I really gotta stop posting on Bota cause it gives me ulcers just thinking about the missed opportunities...
