I am confronted with the same dilemma on all of my stocks. There is no respite.
I felt given that SXY is Australian based the fall in the AUD had significantly cushioned the oil price fall and its growth area is gas, but my judgement is again found wanting. Regretfully I did pull a sell order at 70.5 cents some time ago.
Hold and they fall, sell and they rise is the story of my stocks. Believe it or not I was throwing out the 'garbage stocks' many years ago and got rid my CVN and 3.4 cents. It subsequently went to 88 cents. It did came all the way back and I thought about getting in at 6 cents but was already exposed to oil and gas. Sure enough it rockets to 28 cents.
Does punishing persistence pay off?
