TWO reshuffled ministers who were not able to take their oaths last week have been sworn-in today at the Government House.
This was confirmed by the Government House.

Who said there was not a minister for mines, down the bottom the article quoted on this thread was this :

The two were Stanley Sofu, the former minister for Police, National Security and Correctional Services, who will take up the new portfolio as minister for Infrastructure Development; and John Moffat Fugui, former Minister for Education, who has been shifted as the new Minister for Public Service.

Office of the Prime Minister confirmed that MR Sofu will be sworn in today since he was away to his constituency last week.

Other reshuffled ministers who were sworn in last week were Elijah Doromuala for Justice and Legal Affairs, William Bradford Marau for Commerce, Industries, Labour and Immigration, Moses Garu for Police, National Security and Correctional Services and John Dean Kuku for Education and Human Resources Development.

Government back benchers who took up the ministerial portfolios were Bradley Tovosia for Mines and Energy, and Deputy Speaker of Parliament Andrew Manepora as minister for Lands, Housing and Survey.
