This is a very shrewd observation. In my opinion, the geothermal stocks offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to make an absolute fortune. I hold GHT, GRK, GDY, and I bought into TEY today, just before it rose. If one can resist the temptation to sell along the way, I think that holding these stocks for five years is a recipe for millionairedom.

One thing surprises me: GHT hasn't been issued with a speeding ticket yet. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Admittedly the shares are among the tightest held on the ASX, and I've heard the rumour that Macquarie Bank is accumulating them; but has anyone heard anything more concrete?

I also like the fact that the discussion on the geothermal forums far surpasses that on other hotcopper forums - particularly the uranium ones. Sadly, no doubt this will change as the more average punter becomes aware of the geothermal sector.
