$1.65? Seems like the market was up across the boards yet this stock is trending lower. What might be thecause of this?

Manganese flake rose to trade at $2,875-2,950 per tonne on Wednesday compared with $2,850-2,950 per tonne previously. "The activity is good in Europe, it's very stable and the Ukraine has been in the market for some briqs this week," one trader said. Prices stayed strong in Europe despite some weakness in the Asian market in the run-up to the Chinese new year. "The prices are dipping - it seems the market has already digested the new year shutdown," a Chinese trader said. After the new year, prices will rise again following a spate of smelter shutdowns in the past few weeks, he said. "There's not enough ore for the smelters, they will be offering again in March, but that's why the price has gone up so quickly," he said. Manganese ore is trading at $7-8 per mtu compared with $5.90-6.90 per mtu at the start of the year. Manganese ore prices have firmed since the start of the year as producers struggle to bring their mines back to full production fast enough to satisfy growing demand for manganese alloys from Chinese steelmakers.
