Does anyone agree that the VIX is the biggest load of bollocks in Financial Markets?? Just look at the weekly/monthly chart leading up to Feb 2. Dead flat calm. Then the proverbial hits the fan over the last 2 days and everyone is talking about how the VIX has spiked. Wow. Worst lag indictor I have ever seen. Absolutely useless in trying to predict what lies ahead.
