What the VOC Board needs to do

The VOC Board has one responsibility and that is to enhance shareholder value.

The Board has shown abject incompetent at directing the company through a series of business integrations.
The management team has also failed, demonstrating they cannot meld cultures together and extract the lauded acquisition benefits.

Therefore the last task for this board is to pay Goldman Sachs a bucket load of money and get three competing bidders.

There will be many corporates all over the world that would love to own the VOC assets. Let's hope we get a good price.

If the Board cannot attract another bid then they should all resign in shame.
