Exxon is also spending real money in Oz on energy sources outside its core business.
Unconvential shale oil / or even oil shale, so CSG and even dewatered coal itself must be sitting in a report on some corporate exec's desk as well.
All the big oilers see themselves as energy companies these days and energy doesn't just come from oil.
Exxon would also make a great supply partner for TATA if they owned for example BM and 660 sq kms in LV.
How deep might they be prepared to dig into their pockets for that one.
Or has my time over on a certain "Australian Oil Company's" thread and a lack of sleep rendered me somewhat delusional?
