I bought some more Options today as well. I only bought enough whereby I can afford to convert them to heads in Dec 13 should they be in the money.
The options subject was raised at the AGM about the concern Dec 13 was getting close and would MNM consider extending the Option expiry date should they not be in the money. The board said they would look at it but one board member in particular said "there will be a lot of water under the bridge before the Option expiry date" which I took to mean that there is plenty of more news to come and a lot more to be achieved before the Option Expiry date. I also took it to mean possibly that they expect the options to be in the money by Dec 13.
In relation to the AGM, you had to be there to get the feel for the company and the board. They hate the current share price, are all very proud of what they have achieved for shareholders and are all very much positive about MNM's future. You cannot gauge that via an announcement on the ASX. You had to be there to understand and is now the reason I am no longer concerned about the current share price. I like what I heard and saw at the AGM and I took an instant liking to the Chairman and the board. They are a switched on lot of guys and I have no doubt MNM will prove itself in the future. You have to be long term with this stock (4 -5 years) to reap the benefits.
