IFM's contract ceases at the end of 2017. From that point forward, Clifford Thames appears to be JLR's new EPC supplier with the difference being the build/configuration time for the eCAT product.
From what I understand, JLR is still sticking Ford parts into their cars despite the TATA acquisition. So maybe the switch to Clifford Thames is purely for economic reasons (they did after all acquire all rights to Ford eCAT platform so it cuts out the middleman)?
Also think it's worth noting that IFM's EPC contract was originally for 3-years through to 2016. As we know this was given a one-year extension recently through to 2017. To me, this suggests that whatever is being built by Clifford Thames may in fact be behind schedule.
