re: uk means nothing Michaelirish, there was no "fall" in the US when exchange rate movements were taken into account. BHP fell a small amount but within what I'd call a normal trading range, especially after 2 days of good gains. The stock turned up in the afternoon when the mine closure news broke and copper rallied.
