Important points for you to consider:
- They are not drilling for oil and do not need to provide progress announcements.
- Given the constraints on the mining industry at the moment, MTN's results are filtering through at NORMAL rates.
- and as for the comment to release more info to provide "the reason for the delay to ensure investor confidence", here is some (free) advice, if you are not confident in a stock based on your own assessments, valuations, analysis or whatever - DO NOT INVEST IN IT.

The last thing you want is management to release useless information. Take a Look at GDN and CDU and then tell me if you want management to release information in an ATTEMPT to support the share price.

When management attempt to support the price of their stock with useless information -> that is negligent.
