    Mines are in the process of being dehumanised, with automation a key feature. Driverless trucks etc.

    The process of building mines is capital and labour intensive, but mining itself is remarkably short on workers.

    The fact that we have moved from the investment stage, to the extraction and production stage, at a time of falling prices is what the problem is all about. Where is the growth coming from?
