Hi krystengandhi, there are 2 basic options you have:

1) Sell your shares now for 20c on the market and never look back
2) Keep your shares and see how this plays out at the vote currently scheduled for around 29 May 2017. This will then go in 2 directions,

i) If the majority of shareholders accept the deal, in it’s current form you will be paid out around 16 June with 20c per share and CVN’s (quantity based on shares you had) which will vest sometime in the coming 4 years at anywhere between nothing & 19.6 cents each.

ii) If the majority of shareholders reject the deal you will keep your shares, and CTP will stay on as a listed company. This may prompt Macquarie to revise it’s offer, or another buyer may show up, or there may simply be significant changes to board & management which will impact it’s share price in the short term however, and you may be in for a wild ride.
