Another unknown in the long term future price of gold are the central banks and also china.
I am looking for growing distrust and general popular movement for repatriation.
I posted a link this morning to an articles on safehaven which discussed how if all the tonnes of gold various central banks say they have in storage in London was actually there then the Uk is 5000 tonnes short!.
I know I know ; no one really knows what the f is going on but the german repatriation has started something. People are asking questions and looking at past disclosures and audits (or lack thereof) Watch this space.
