I once was made fun of by the chemist for suggesting the giving of the residue soil to Micronesioa for islands that need  "fill" to offset the effects of the ocean rising.  This was in poor taste i realize. Sorry!  I remember how the Japanese took dredged soil so they could build an airport in the bay near Tokyo by using an unusual and unused product in an unique way.  This is now the platform that Haneda airport sits.   Is it possible to mix this stuff with portland cement mix and used for pilings which are driven deep into the ground where it is even more harmless as it already is?  Please think of other things that can be done.   Hey!  What about boxes made to send products to overseas customers?  That will slowly get rid of this stuff if it works?   It seems absolutely ridiculous and stupid and expensive to expect this stuff to be hauled off back to Australia.  Also, Malaysia should pay for the costs to remedy THEIR PROBLEM for their lack of their due diligence when they were luring LYNAS to build a refinery.
