I don't use financial advisors, but I do research commentaries and do agonise over matters like the WBC buyback offer. My view is these buybacks are rubbish: I could potentially make around $6000 if I was successful in my tender, and frankly I gain and lose more than that every day of the week. Just pay better dividends when the funds are there and stop this nonsense.
