The blame game, it is happening already.

The Government is blaming arsonists, the loggers are blaming the greenies and meanwhile bodies are still being discovered.

I am with pete pumpkin, no one knows where the spark came from, so no point in guessing and blaming. All we know it was a bloody hot week and there was masses of fuel in the forests.

I read an article (cant find link sorry) which quoted a uni professor that predicted the great fire and calculated that there was enough fuel it equated to 600+ Hiroshima bombs, scary.

We can not do much about the weather surely the fuel needs to be managed through staged back burning in suitable conditions.
