Please contact your financial advisor in regards to what you should do with this stock, in all seriousness though read the post by red-frog regarding the scheme as he had quite a balanced view on why he would vote yes to the scheme and take up Trek shares. You probably didn’t need to create another separate thread regarding the scheme but I will forgive you as you seem like a green investor. You will have to make up your own mind here and decide what is in your best interests. Small caps are a dangerous space to play in for novice investors who can’t stomach the volatility.

You should also read the entire general discussion thread which has various different points of view on management and the project to gain some insights.

The related party management across Trek and Edge are pushing for the scheme to go ahead so they must feel this is the best value creation strategy from their end. They would have thought about the various options at length ( I.e. separate IPO listing or full sale to another third party but ended up deciding on scrip for scrip). Albeit it has been a slow 12 months, the manganese project will fit in nicely with Trek’s longer term strategy and vision of becoming a battery metals player. Good luck with your decision, cheers CP.
