Nobody brought it up I reckon because Abbott's attitude and inconsistency on this is a JOKE! He was pulled apart by O'Brien on the 7.30 Report last night. He says he doesn't believe in climate change but he has to have a policy ... because 80% of Autsralians want action on climate change. His plan is for tax payers to cop the bill directly and it will be ineffective .. planting a few trees and claiming carbon trapped in agricultural soil as part of emmissions reductions.

The ETS with all its flawa would be WAY better for promoting gas fired power IMHO.

What a fiasco the whole thing!
