    Edgar,

"I have sold a bit of my holding today, took rather a nasty loss"

Either ESG is a poor investment, or your investment strategy and timeframes are not very good. You bought in again just before Christmas on big flow results, now sell out a month or so later at a loss.

If you were a cannier investor, your comments would carry more weight. But when you keep buying, then reselling at a loss, and keep coming back for more, one wonders how much weight we can give your analysis..?

We are left with only two conclusions:

    (A) you are not a very good investor (and so must weigh your comments about ESG accordingly), OR

    (B) you are on the ESG thread of HC solely to try to talk down the stock.

Which conclusion should we draw Edgar, A or B?

I think you are a good example of 'Wittgenstein's Ruler' - if the ruler is unreliable, it's measurements say more about the ruler than what is being measured.

    Y
