If you can't get it out ..maybe transfer it to a fund with low fees such as Aust Super...but check to see if her fund has high exit fees whatever...
You can also contribute to her fund if she earns less than $X
and claim a 15% rebate against your own tax on the contribution ....check out the ato site ...superannuation section...I cant remember the contribution figure or if its still available...
