The 10% was never sold to all properly. We were told you are taking it and thats it. No negotiations. I did suggest a company wide 2-5 % to no prevail. Was told that when mining was killing it other parts who were falling behind suffered i was told they we're doing the same as what mining and steelworks are facing now. If a paycut from all the way from top to bottom i think the outcome would have been more than enough of a contribution and would have been alot more than they bargained for. My job now lies in jeopardy and i too am worried. If we dont hang in there do the workers still their entitlements?. I hope These administrators do all in their power to save what they can and help not just whyalla but the stel industry. Where to now???
