Obviously, if there is a no vote and Pfizer walks without a licensing deal, then we raise cash anywhere from 5-10c.... it is really dependent on newsflow. However, I can't see Pfizer just leaving. They could've walked for a low, low cost of $1 million (plus the sunk cost of the research). Pfizer wants the screening device ASAP. Every day without a mass screening device represents an opportunity cost in lost sales of Paxlovid.

R&D on the Covid-19 test can stop immediately. The company can resume research at some point in the future if free cash flow or partnership agreements allow for it. That will eliminate a significant cash outflow and provide some breathing space.

All efforts should be devoted to commercialising the products where the company already has clinical proof and regulatory approval.
