I think soon people will realise that bnpl as an industry is now embedded into how people purchase things. it's had a major influence on how consumers purchase items, and this whole Covid-19 pandemic has only sped up the process and allowed all of these companies to gain significant traction. Despite the negative reaction from PayPal joining the race I think of it in a different matter. Thinking of it optimistically, if a major company like PayPal is prepared dedicate vast amounts of capital into this industry then it just goes to show that the whole industry is going to stick around for a while.
