very true.
I remember a dish a Finnish girl staying with us made - a traditional meal -- with traditionally reindeer - but, I think she used Venison (due to Victoria's shortage of reindeer) - and about 500 kilos of butter and probably 20 gallons of cream or the like - to serve maybe only 4 to 6 people -
man, talk about calorie packed and fat full -
I can't remember which month it was in - it was in Melbourne - and I can't remember it being cold weather - but, I sure do remember the reaction - it was nice - but, on each spoonful you thought - man, I can probably keep going a month on that.
But, of course - they have minus 20 on a great day - and, we do tend to use a lot of energy just keeping warm.
