Does anyone with more insight into medical trials than me know what result in the upcoming trials will indicate success? To my uninformed eye, the Phase 11a trials with a ~4 from 21 positive result would not have been good. These however "exceeded the expectations of the study's conductors" and have given them sufficient confidence to proceed with development. Will a similar result with the upcoming trial be enough to progress onwards to phase 111 and commercialisation?
IMHO the treatment is probably a winner, but I would like to know how high the upcoming hurdles are.
