Many Trumpists worship Putin's leadership approach and the Ukraine crisis may see their house of cards toppling.
Maybe it's good for everyone to be distracted from Trump's looming prosecutions because the process needs to be seen as non political.
That said, Ukraine is a bigger risk than anything else ATM. Putin has cornered himself politically and there are a lot of hot heads and revenge seekers on the front lines.
