If I was PMA or AXO or RDR I wouldn't want GPN gaining demand for its scrip and a stronger shareprice.
A strong s'price for GPN and investor attention means opposition to the other players plans.
A few extra dollars through a placement at higher prices puts GPN ( and now the spinoff -should it gain enough investor interest )in a stronger position to begin to develop and build a vanadium business.
Competition starts for investors dollars before it begins for bankers dollars and for offtake agreements.
